D.847.1 New Ponti Project by Molteni&C
We are presenting the D.847.1 in our Milan showroom. This is a small console table/writing desk made entirely of national walnut with brass finials. In particular, the writing desk is characterised by a top with curved ends and a small drawer underneath with a rounded front. More than 70 years after Gio Ponti’s original design, the console table has been given a new lease of life thanks to the Heritage Collection reissue project by Molteni&C, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives.
